LGBT Asian

PinkdotTO will be hosted at the Glad Day Bookstore at 12pm with welcoming speeches and performances. To celebrate our 4th year, we will march from the gay village to to Chinatown starting roughly at 1pm.

WEAR PINK and show your support for LGBTQ+ Asians and their allies!

PinkdotTO is a non-profit movement originating in Singapore by a group of individuals who care deeply and support the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love. While we are fortunate to have marriage equality in Toronto, LGBTQ+ Asians in Toronto still face many challenges. Queer Asians are often underrepresented or sometimes seem non-existent in the Asian and LGBTQ+ communities. With little visibility, it is harder to know where there are safe spaces for queer Asians. We also invite straight allies to show that there is support and love in our community for queer Asians who are still trying to find a place where they feel comfortable to be themselves.

This year our theme, “Love our Differences,” is about celebrating the many intersections within Asian communities and also the love that unites us together. Come join us May 13th to create a supportive and loving space for all LGBTQ+ Asians.

PinkdotTO is an event for everyone; straight, queer, and allies, who support the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love.

Date: Saturday May 13
Time: 12pm
